Evaluation Definition - Versions

Return to Demo/Tutorial Contents Page

Versions tie together Questions and/or Sections and Outcomes into useable tools. Different Versions make it possible to have the same basic tool with

  • different subsets of questions,
  • different orderings of questions,
  • and different outcome scores.

Versions are sometimes used to create short-hand or "Screener" versions of a tool that are used to more quickly determine if further evaluation is necessary.

Versions can also be used in creating reports that present a subset of questions and responses in a different order than they were entered to support other activities such as preparing a service plan.

The Evaluation Versions dialog provides a control center for working with different versions of an Evaluation tool.

Dialog Options:

  • The Questions and Sections options are used to select the questions or sections that comprise a version.
  • The Outcomes option is used to select the Outcome Scores that should be computed for a given version
