R/Client Managed Care/Billing was originally developed in the early 1980's and is still being used by many agencies across the country. R/Client has a broad range of client management related features including:

HIPAA Compliance

The biggest impact of HIPAA in the near future will be in claims and remittance advice handling. Our current plan is to release a separate claims processing module that will translate R/Client claims to a HIPAA compliant format and remittance advices back to an R/Client compliant format. We are currently having discussions with agencies in the various states we support to determine their respective go live dates. We are currently recommending that all R/Client customers apply for the extension that moves the compliance date from October 2002 to October 2003 to ensure adequate time for implementation and testing.

The following information is primarily focused on Early Intervention providers in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, where R/Client is used as the primary MIS for Early Intervention.

Medical Assistance Billing New software to handle the new Staff as Provider enrollment has been installed and tested with all Early Intervention agencies in Allegheny County. We are currently working through changes to the Remittance Advice handling process.
