An Overview of R/Client for Children

R/Client for Children is a client management software package with an emphasis on Evaluation & Outcomes. It is based upon a client management package that was originally developed by Great Lakes Behavioral Research Institute in the 1980's. Versions of R/Client were distributed nationally through the 1990's and are still in use by a variety of agencies across the country.

This version for agencies that serve children and families has been under development in conjunction with an evaluation team at a local Children's Hospital and Allegheny County Early Intervention providers since 1997. While the software continues to grow, Great Lakes/SymServe has been making the software available to agencies that can benefit from the current registration, status, and evaluation/outcomes feature set since the fall of 2000.

The core development team within Great Lakes combined over twenty-five years of social service/not-for-profit client management and accounting experience with access to other Great Lake staff with more than fifty years of additional experience in the field. The continuing friendly relationship between our companies assures continued access to this expertise.
